RBO is a healthy cooking oil with the best balance of high mono fat, able to lower cholesterol and poly fat, which contains Essential Fatty Acids (EFA).

Rice bran cooking oil is the perfect low fat cooking oil for those who are on a low-cholesterol diet, as it has high nutritional and anti-oxidant value. Rice bran cooking light oil is also hypoallergenic and thus very valuable for those suffering from skin fungus, yeast infections, and acne. Rice Bran cooking light oil is also excellent for salads too. DE-OILED RICE BRAN After crude oil has been extracted from rice bran, De-Oiled Rice Bran (DORB) is obtained. DORB is widely used in the manufacture of cattle feed, poultry feed, fish feed, as fuel for boilers, and is used for manufacturing sodium silicate, silica gel, insulation bricks etc (using fully burnt white ash of husk). | Vaigai began its Oils division in 1990 with a solvent extraction plant to manufacture rice bran oil and de-oiled bran. Today, it is one of the largest rice bran oil extraction complexes in India, with two manufacturing plants having rice bran processing capacity of 210,000 tons per annum. Known for our consistency, quality and reliability, our products have found use in the edible oil industry, animal feed industry, pet care and animal nutrition industries. Vaigai holds 8% of market share in India in rice bran processing sector. The third rice bran oil plant – VaigaiMBR is a Joint Venture project started during 2007 with rice bran processing capacity of around 132,000 tons per annum.
